When compared to alternative fasteners like steel or brass bolts, the primary advantage of employing bolts is that they offer more strength without compromising ductility or corrosion resistance. This makes them ideal for usage in a wide range of sectors, including aerospace engineering projects and maritime applications, where regular exposure to extreme temperatures or chemicals may occur. We also manufacture a wide range of products, including Monel 400 washers and nuts.

The market offers a wide range of Cupro-Nickel bolts, each tailored to meet specific application needs. For instance, semi-tubular rivets stand out for their exceptional tensile strength and flexibility, making them an excellent choice for demanding construction projects.

Lock-Nuts

One kind of fastener having an internal thread is a nut. They are used to fasten items together in conjunction with washers and bolts. The threads bond together and keep the pieces in place when the nuts are rotated to tighten them. Hexagonal, square, slotted, locknuts, flange nuts, castle nuts, and captive panel nuts are just a few of the sizes and shapes of stainless steel nuts. Stainless steel, brass, nylon, and aluminum alloy are among the materials used to make stainless steel lock nuts.

Usually, metals like iron, steel, brass, or aluminum are used to make nuts. For enhanced durability and rust protection, many nuts are coated with zinc, chromium, tin, or another corrosion-resistant substance.

Washers

Washers are round metal discs with a hole in the middle that facilitates bolt or screw attachment. The majority of these washers are composed of copper and aluminum (along with additional metals like iron) in an alloy called aluminum bronze.

When compared to other kinds of washers, this alloy offers more strength and endurance. Additionally, it has exceptional wear resistance and outstanding corrosion resistance.

Many equipment and parts require washers because they offer strength, longevity, and resistance to corrosion.

The load of a threaded fastener, such a bolt or nut, is usually distributed by washers. They can also offer electrical insulation, lessen noise and friction, and shield surfaces from harm caused by loosening and tightening.
